MSP Advisory Services Team Lists Former TCF HQ Building for Sale in Wayzata

The MSP Advisory Services Team is marketing for sale the TCF Bank headquarters building in Wayzata near the shore of Lake Minnetonka.  The 53,000 square foot, castle-like building no longer serves as a headquarters for the bank, which merged with Detroit’s Chemical Financial Corp. in 2019.  Many employees have already relocated to other sites in the metro area.

MSP Advisory Services Team Represents Merchant & Gould in Relocation to Fifth Street Towers

Law firm Merchant & Gould relocated its headquarters to Fifth Street Towers in downtown Minneapolis in August 2019, occupying 40,246 square feet on floors 21-22 of the 150 Tower. The intellectual property law firm was previously located in the IDS Center for almost 20 years.

The Cushman & Wakefield team of Paul Donovan, Jacklyn May and Jeremy Striffler represented Merchant & Gould and senior project manager Jennifer Stumm oversaw buildout of the firm’s new space.

C&W Represents Ameriprise in Sale of Chaska Property

Ameriprise recently sold the Oak Ridge Hotel & Conference Center and adjacent 123 acres of land in Chaska, MN, near the Hazeltine golf course.  Amerprise was represented by Cushman & Wakefield in the transaction.

The property was acquired by Bobby Atkinson, a local real estate veteran, for redevelopment purposes.

Cushman & Wakefield’s MSP Advisory Services Team represented advertising agency Fallon in its search for new office space. The ad agency departed the Minneapolis CBD for 40,000 square feet in the Western Container Building in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis.

The Cushman & Wakefield Advisory Services Team represented Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities in the recent acquisition of a new headquarters facility in north Minneapolis. The nonprofit will take occupancy of the new facility in Fall 2020.

MSP ADVISORY SERVICES TEAM HELPS MINNEAPOLIS CHURCH LEASE SCHOOL BUILDING

KIPP Minnesota signed a five-year lease with the Church of St. Anne – St. Joseph Hien for the former private school building at 2620 Russell Avenue North in Minneapolis, Minnesota. KIPP will take occupancy this July ahead of the 2019-2020 school year.

Jeremy Striffler of the MSP Advisory Services Team represented the Parish in the transaction.

KIPP’s mission is to establish and operate high performing public schools in the Twin Cities that confront educational inequity by delivering academic excellence and cultivating leadership skills to ensure all students succeed in college and life. The new campus is part of KIPP’s strategic plan to grow to four schools – two primary schools and two middle schools – serving over 1,000 students in grades K-8 by 2024.

C&W Represents Briggs and Morgan in Lease Renewal

The Cushman & Wakefield MSP Advisory Services Team represented Briggs and Morgan, a full-service law firm, in a 93,000-square-foot lease renewal at IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis. The firm plans to fully renovate its space, which is located on floors 22 through 25. Plans call for a more modern, open and collaborative space.

MSP Advisory Services Team Helps St. Paul Church Lease School Building

The St. Paul School of Northern Lights signed a five-year lease with the Church of St. Francis De Sales for the former private school building at 426 Osceola Ave. S. in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The building totals 39,501 square feet and the school will occupy the entire building when it opens in time for the fall 2019 school year. Jeremy Striffler of the MSP Advisory Services Team represented the Parish in the transaction.
Northern Lights is a free K-8 public charter school devoted to exploration of our urban ecosystem, relationship-based learning, and educating curious critical thinkers.
