MSP Advisory Services Team Receives NAIOP Minnesota Awards of Excellence

The MSP Advisory Services Team received the Broker² Award at the 2017 NAIOP Awards of Excellence for their work representing Lindquist & Vennum in a relocation within IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis. Among other things, the group considered law firm trends and created a thoughtful direction for the project, ultimately achieving a 10 percent cost savings for their client. Jennifer Stumm of Cushman & Wakefield also provided project management services throughout the lengthy buildout of the new 81,000-square-foot (sf) office, which is now open.

The Broker² Award recognizes outstanding value created by a brokerage team, and is exclusively available to brokers associated with projects nominated for the Awards of Excellence. NAIOP understands that all successful commercial real estate projects are backed by a skilled team of professionals—a group that becomes more than the sum of its parts to accomplish the job—and the Broker² Award acknowledges the invaluable contribution made by a brokerage team. The NAIOP awards, which recognize top new developments and redevelopments in their categories, were doled out in a ceremony at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in downtown Minneapolis Sept. 28.

NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is the leading organization for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate. NAIOP comprises more than 15,000 members in North America and advocates responsible commercial real estate development and advocates for effective public policy.
